I just noticed a weird bug, for games played over the past 3 days it says they were played at:

      6th of May
      6th of June
      6th of July

instead of the other way around

my computer is DD/MM/YY if it matters

      Hey YuvalW,

thanks for your feedback. Sounds like someone finally invented time traveling! :D

Have you checked the handhistory for the date and time for those 3 days?

      Hi there,

the displayed date format depends on the selected language of the PokerStrategy.com Elephant. Which language are you using?

      Thx,
      L

@mrk - yep the FTP hand history says 06/07/2011 and so on (MM/DD/YY), is it possible to change it since I didn't find where?

@Larres - Everything is in English. FTP, Elephant and the hand history.

You can not change how FTP formats their handhistory.

I'll send this thread to Lars again.

      Hi YuvalW,

are you referrng to Tournaments or Cash Games?

The new Tourney part states the English date format in MM/DD/YYYY.
The old legacy Cash Game Overview part states the English date format DD/MM/YYYY.
Changing the Cash Game format to MM/DD/YYYY is not an option as this would have a major impact on that old code.

And all dates listed will be taken from the original imported hand histories.

Can you post a screenshot to clear things up?

      Thx,
      L

      Hi there,

which version of the PokerStrategy.com Elephant are you using exactly? If not already done you need to update to the latest version v0.102.

And I've just imported the hand history posted above and the Elephant states the month "June 2011".

Maybe you need to clear you database and reimport the hand histories in order to fix the content inside your local database.

      Cheers,
      L

well as you can see on the top of the print screen it is already version 1.02.
I cleared the database and imported again and it's still reversed.

Can you identify the mis-dated hands (at least the September 2011 hands) and post them here or send an email to elephant[at]pokerstrategy[dot]com, so that we can check the originals.

      Thx,
      L

      This problem just got serious.

I emailed you with hand history of all the hands, got no answer.
now that it's after the 12th elephant says there's an error since there's no 13th month, and hands aren't imported

      tournaments still work thou

      Hi YuvalW,

we've checked your hands but we're still not able to reproduce the issue mentioned above. All hands are imported and dated correctly to June.

Try to create a new elephant database (settings/databasemanagement) and import the originla FTP-hands again.

      Additional questions:
What are your Windows system time settings? English/US?
What are your FTP Time Zone settings? Central European Time (CET)?

      Thx,
      L

      Hi YuvalW,

as you know we aren't able to reproduce this issue. Your hands we correctly imported and dated.
I guess there must be something wrong with your system's date and time format settings as the correct date format for English/US would be: m/d/yyyy, instead of "dd/mm/yyyy" mentioned above.
      Please check your system settings.

      Cheers,
      L

there is no "correct" time zone settings for english/US, the default one is m/d/yyyy, I CHANGED it to dd/mm/yyyy.

What I ment was try to set it up "correctly" using the default format, that may be helpful.

      Cheers,
      L
