i felt i still needed to raise and show strength, but generally when facing a donk bet it is a good sign of strength - i regualrly donk when i hit my set to get value

but it washappening a lot today and felt i was ahead here

      Hello joeldowey123,

Pretty much turning your hand into bluff. Therefore I'd rather prefer to Call and re-evaluate it on turn.

But of course overall it ain't really a big mistake to raise it and get value from overcards. But of course it's very likely that he ain't gonna continue with worse holdings.

      Best regards.

For me the raise was also protection! If I call and a K or something shows up o have no idea where I am in the hand anymore.
