      Hi!

      Villain is 34/24, AF 2.0, 3b 5%, 90hands.

Is it standard in sh to go broke vs this kind of villain utg vs. mp(mp vs co since there was one player sitting out)? He is not on the 3b wild side, but at the same time plays very laggy. Sample is a bit small though.

      Thanks for ur help!

Yes for me its tottaly standard in SH games.
If games are more aggresive, then i go broke QQ with any position usually.

      I like the "usually" :P

Since he is on the tight side concerning 3bets (ok, small sample I know), would he really show up in CO vs. MP w/ something like suited connectors or JJ?

Well, if we assume that, is it too wrong to just call and play postflop? Getting it in on low flops is not so bad IMO; after all, he has slightly more AK combos than KK/AA. Not to mention set value for QQ.

idk, just thinking out loud. Our equity vs. QQ+,AQs+,AKo kind of sucks to get it in pre. We don't know him yet to assume a wide 5betting range and after we 4bet there is not much else to do...

      Hey
OOP calling 3bet is really bad, we just cant play it perfect way.
Like you sayd, there is no sample, but even 5% 3b is solid allready, i just want to collect this dead money and if not, then QQ have solid eq against his shipping range (i think about 40/60), we cant give up hand like QQ, we must stay aggresive to get payd off AA/KK later. These days are imo SH (especially NL50 - pokerstars) preflop really really aggresive and most players look opponents who are weak preflop to put pressure - we dont want to be these.

Ofc im not huge fan of preflop wars, i like postflop way more, but OOP we cant do anything.

QQ is nuts in this situation.
(its not co vs btn, but for example, co vs btn is JJ even nuts for me, really often any PP - even 22- is nuts for me, just players 3bet way to often these days)

Sorry about my english mistakes ;)
