Blinds are up to 50/100 now.

It's a seriously stacked field with just under 600 signups so far.

Some chip counts (15k start stack):
      Bokkie 14k
      Thorsten77 20k
      Nazgul 8.5k
      JonathanLittle 18k
      BongBob 14k

The rest still have about stating stacks

Bokkie said he folded a sick 5-bet hand preflop. One raise, two call, one 3-bet, BU call, Bokkie calls from SB, original raiser 3-bet, another cold 4-bets, button 5-bet ships, Bokkie folds and all fold

Thorsten won two nice pots. He defended 77 in BB against Scott Seiver.

      Flop 8 7 7, check check.
Turn 6 with a flush draw, Thorsten bets, Seiver calls
River T completes the flush, Thorsten overbets, Seiver calls

He then opened KK and got 2 callers.

      Flop 9 8 5 , c-bet, both call
      Turn 4 all check
River K offsuit, villain overbets, Thorsten calls, and villain shows 9 6

Nazgul lost a pot with flopped two pair with 64 vs a rivered set. The board was 9 6 4 2 K, he bet called the river and villain shoed KK

RobbieV is on the same table with VojitaR, Robbie in seat 1, VojitaR in seat 4

      Jonathan Little is also playing

      PokerStrategist swordfish007

He has to deal with durrrr on his table

They just finished a break and blinds are up to 100/200

      Chip counts:
      Bokkie 14k
      VojitaR 14k
      Thorsten77 14k
      Nazgul 4k
      JonathanLittle 15k
      BongBob 18k
      Swordfish007 10k

Nazgul told me that he had QQ twice in 3-bet pots, but the flop came AKx both times.

BongBob picked up a nice pot after a value raise on the river. On the board of 4 5 Q A T, BongBob called a turn bet, and raised to 3,525 on the river after villain fired 625. Villain called and BongBob's low flush of 6 4 was good.

Blinds going up to 150/300/25 now

      Three of our players busted:

      Chip counts:
      VojtaR 3.3k
      Thorsten77 28k
      BongBob 30k
      Tsubi 15k
      swordfish007 14k
      RobbieV, Bokkie and JonathanLittle busto

RobbieV was knocked out by Dave "Devilfish" Ulliot. UTG raised, Robbie 3-bet, Ulliot called (he actually didn't realise there was a 3-bet from Robbie but called anyway).

Flop: Q J 9 RobbieV bets 2.2k into 4k pot, devilfish calls and utg goes away

Turn x Devilfish bets 2.2k (RobbieV said that he actually thought about folding because devilfish was telegraphing a good hand, but maybe it could be T9 JT or AQ too), RobbieV went all in for the remaining half of his stack, and Ulliot snap called.

River blanks, Ulliot shows QQ to beat RobbieV's KK

Bokkie busted out in an all in preflop hand. BU opened, he 3-bet from SB, BU goes all in and Bokkie snap calls. AK vs JJ.

The board bricks and Bokkie is busto.

VojitaR told me that "none of my plays are working. Lost all in on the flop, OESD vs bottom two"

BongBob doubled up with a nice suck out. KK vs AA, K on flop

BongBob: "I got it in with KK vs AA again, but this time I didn't win"

Thorsten77 won a nice pot right at the break.

He opened UTG with a minraise, Amnon Filipi calls, BB calls.

Flop T 3 4 BB donks 1.1k, Thorsten makes it 2,650, Amnon folds, BB calls.

Turn Q BB checks, Thorsten bets 3,875, BB calls

      River 6 check check

We're coming up to dinner break soon, and lost a few more players in the last hour.

Antoine Saout and Tsubi both busted.

      swordfish007 30k - 4 left (durrrr busto)
      Thorsten77 40k - 6 left, chipleader now

Tsubi got it all in preflop with KQ against David Benyamine's JJ.

No luck on the board, so Tsubi is gone.

swordfish007 had better luck with KQ, when he got it all in against George Lind's A8.. He hit his K on the river to double up to 30k.

Antoine Saout played a huge hand, he raise called prelop.

Flop A A 4, Saout bet 2.3k, villain makes it 5k, Saout pumps it up to 9.65k, villain makes it 15k straight, Saout calls

Turn J villain check and Saout sticks the rest of his chips in.

A9 vs K 3, there was no flush draw for Saout so he was drawing dead.

Thorsten77 busted out one player just a few minutes ago. Thorsten opened to 1.2k, villain stick it in for just over 6k, Thorsten77 makes the call

      T 8 vs AJ

The board runs out 8 5 3 6 6 and Thorsten picks up the last of his opponent's chips.

"Easy call against any other player, he was so tight"

      Back from dinner break.

swordfish007 busted right before dinner break, so Thorsten77 is our last player in this event.

Thorsten's table is down to 4 handed now and he has a decent chip lead.

He has around 60k chips (400/800/100 blinds)

      Veronica Dabul has around 40k

      Kevin Saul About 25k chips

David Daneshgar Also about 25k chips

Down to 3 handed now, Kevin Saul has taken over the chip lead and Thorsten is the short stack with about 20bb (600/1.2k/200)

Saul knocked out Dabul on a coin flip 44 vs AJ to equal Thorsten's stack.

He then won a big pot against Thorsten to take a huge chip lead.

On the board of Q 4 J 5 2, Saul check called 3 streets, including a big bet by Thorsten on the river.

      Thorsten had Q 6 but was outkicked by Saul's Q 8.

Daneshgar then doubled up with TT vs AJ against Saul to overtake Thorsten

      Heads-up now.

Saul knocked out Daneshgar with QQ vs 99 to go into the headsup match with a huge 5 to 1 chip lead.

Thorsten however wasn't going away easily. Thorsten lost the first hand, folding on the river after Saul put him all in on a 4 5 7 9 K board.

He however doubled up twice in the next two hands. First with 66 vs K5, then with A Q vs A J.

Thorsten then had a 84k vs 66k lead.

Saul took a few small pots to retake the lead, but Thorsten then forced Saul to give up on the turn with the board showing 8 3 7 9. Thorsten went all in and Saul folded. Saul had called a 3-bet preflop and also called on the flop prior to folding, so that was a nice 30k pot for Thorsten.

At the break, Thorsten now leads the chip counts by 100k to Saul's 50k. Blinds will be 800/1,600/200 now

Thorsten77 is victorious after the tough heads-up match against Kevin Saul.

Saul hung on to his 50k chips pretty tightly, but Thorsten was slowly but surely chipping away at his stack.

In an interesting hand, Saul slowplayed his flopped nuts, hoping to trap Thorsten, but the damage was limited as Thorsten played the hand carefully.

The board of T 9 T 6 K was checked down. Thorsten bet the river after Saul checked again, Saul raised and Thorsten made the reluctant call. Saul tabled T9 for a flopped full house. " You have the ace of spades?" probed Saul. "No, it would have been an easier call if I had it." replied Thorsten.

In another hand, there was a raise and a call preflop.

The flop came W 8 6, Thorsten bet 4.2k, Saul made it 11.2k, Thorsten went all in and Saul folded his stack down to around 30k. He did recover to 50 after that though.

In the last hand, Saul had under 20 big blinds and they went all in preflop. Thorsten limper the button, Saul, raised, Thorsten re-raised and Saul went all in. JJ vs A T

The board ran out 2 5 3 5 T and Thorsten will make the money and make the final 40.
