Been a member for a while, but this is my first post, and i hope that many more will come!

Heya, i'm a 20 year old male living in Norway. Played poker for a while, and it have had it ups and downs :D

Playing under the nick Draugsvol on FTP.

Was planning on depositing 1k and start grinding NL 25, in around a month or so, but i took some 50-100$ on Full Tilt just for fun, and got lucky. So here i am!

      Bankroll --> Poker Hand

So, i was glad, i got myself the roll i needed, without depositing and started grinding :)

Playing NL 25 Rush, mostly. The first few days have been great, going alot up and down, but mostly up, and roll is currently standing on 1250,33$ Perfect roll for the stakes.

I'm going to play a 50+10 BRM style. That will say, i now have 50 buy ins for NL 25, when i get 10 buy ins for NL 50 (500$) I will shot with those, and hopefully get out of the micro stakes for the first time! :D Lose the 10 buy ins, and i jump back to NL 25, getting 10 more, and repeat.

      NL 25 = 1250$ (+10 = 1750$)
      NL 50 = 2500$ (+10 = 3500$)
      NL 100 = 5000$ (+10 = 7000$) (This is though not in a while, but oh well!)

      Poker Goals:

      - Being rolled for NL 50 by the end of the year.
      - Hopefully play NL 100 sometime next year.
      - Play some more PLO, cus i love it, but the swings are crazy.
      - Don't let tilt infect my game / take more breakes when it occures.

      - Live events! Was on a live event in Riga, Latvia last winter, 300€+ 30€ buy in, 150ish in the tournament. Came 5th for 2200€. First and only time on casino and live tourney, so really want to try some more :)

(Maybe i'll leave some sick funny stories from that trip in a later note)

And in the end i'll leave a graf so far of this month.

      - 10,00$/hour

      - 4.96bb/100

Incoming Rush week! Going for 7/7 days silver :)

So had my first session, mainly to get Silver today on Rush week. (Or maybe this Mystery thing, not sure how many FTP it is each day, but)

Going to another city in Norway today, so only had time tonight.

Anyway, was a really nice session, up 40$, so have a BR of 1290$.

      Todays graf just for fun:

      And an interesting hand:

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from

      Hero (CO) ($35.50)
      Button ($35.62)
      SB ($33.67)
      BB ($70.90)
      UTG ($16.72)
      MP ($25)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8, 8
UTG bets $0.75, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.75, Button raises to $2, 3 folds, Hero calls $1.25

      Flop: ($5.10) 3, 2, 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $2.50, Hero raises to $6, Button calls $3.50

      Turn: ($17.10) 10 (2 players)
      Hero bets $11, Button raises to $27.62 (All-In), Hero calls $16.50 (All-In)

      River: ($72.10) 6 (2 players, 2 all-in)

      Total pot: $72.10 | Rake: $3

Basicly, standar call pre. And since we are so deep, and he 3-bets so small, easy call by me. Hitted the dream flopp.
Biggest pot of the day also, and it was the only pot i called a 3-bet with a pocket pair under TT, hence the small 3bet.

Hey! Good luck at Rush: Seems like this'll be an interesting blog. A little piece of advice though, you can use a hand converter to make the hand histories more readable. I personally use this one:

I believe PokerStrategy has one of their own as well.

      Good luck at the tables!

Sweet, thanks for that :) Now i didn't have to go look for one.

Yeah hopefully i'll have a fun ride through out the year, looking forward to it!

Hi, nice blog. Find really interesting BMR stile for moving up. I think I will use something similar :)

Thanks guys :) Yeah i hope so aswell.

Right now i'm in the army though, so the playing and updating will be very up and down. Really depends on what i have to do :)

Like had a 15 hour day today, meh. But still got in 100 points for the Rush week on FTP :)

Going for silver 7/7 days, and 50$ bonus.

Went on a little dowswing, lost a buy in with AK vs AQ pre, and set vs flush draw, but oh well.

Still over 1200, and 200$ ish rakeback coming friday. Going to be epic. Will come with better updates, once i have time to sit down for real. Living in a tent for the moment...

And btw, yeah i really like this BRM method. It's really safe, and it also gives perfect room imo in moving up, and adjusting to a new lvl.

It will be a good read, since I will try something simmilar. :)

Hope you don't mind if I "borrow" your BRM. I like it. :f_p:

      GL with your grind. ;)

Hello. I'm trying to move up through shorthanded rush too, but I'm using aggressive BR management, 20+5, instead of 50+10. I currently have 30BI for NL50 and I'm trying to get established there. I think 50+10 is too nitty. You're not going to go broke if you use this sort of BRM, so why not be a bit more aggro with it? You learn faster the higher the limit you play. It took me two attempts to get from NL10 to NL25, and this is my second try at NL50. Good luck and I will follow your progress.

      Hehe understandable.

But i'm experiencing huge swings, so i need a big roll not to tilt so much :)

I'm on a 300$ downswing atm, so my roll is down to 1003$.

It's mostly OK play and running bad, however, thats far from good enough, need to play good and run bad atleast. But will get a nice rakeback tomorrow, and some realy relaxing. Having way to long days, and trying to get.

Anyway, will come with more this weekend :)

So, i'm experiencing a major downswing on the Texas part. It's prolly cus i'm not 100% rested while i'm playing. Playing OK, but running bad as hell.

Anyway, will try to rather only play when i'm 100% focues on the stake i'm playing.

It's going OK though, won some nice on PLO, and got a rakeback of 183$ (Sick for playing NL 25 lol, 1/6th of roll)

Getting a 50$ bonus from rush week on FTP also, but i'll take that when it comes.

It's been a couple of really hard days in the army, long hard days, and my tummy is fucked up. But hey, getting in shape!

Anyway, i'll post some grafs of the nice 350$ downswing later, and some interesting hands maybe.

      Current roll: 1220$.

Main goal will just be to get in over the green line this month, currently down two buy ins, nothing much, but. Just keep on playing A-game!

Hoping to be shotting at NL 50 in the end of august / start of september, that would be awesome :) Hence i cannot play that much all the time, but there will allways be some!

Love having a nice and steady roll, and just playing poker whenever i want, cus i really freaking enjoy it. Will also play some PLO, don't have the tracker atm, so maybe i'll buy the full version of PT3.

Thanks for all the nice messages guys, just ask any question if you're wondering about something :)

      So back to post updates.

Have had a huge fucking stupid downswing on NL 25 rush, feel like im playing OK, but running bad as fuck.

It's like a 400$ downswing, 16 buy ins. Does not effect me too much, but it sucks :)

However, i'v been winning great in PLO, and also gotten some rakeback so it's all good.

BR is currently 1,329 $ Really happy with that.

Also i have an incoming 50$ Rush week bonus, and a 50$ mid-year iron-man bonus. And some rakeback next friday :)

Next month, does not really matter what happens. I'm just going to play the best poker i'm able to play and hopefully it'll go good. I'll atleast do my very best.

And now to graf and some hands:

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from

      SB ($12.08)
      BB ($25)
      Hero (UTG) ($54.24)
      MP ($25.75)
      CO ($27.37)
      Button ($18.10)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 3, A
Hero bets $0.75, 3 folds, SB calls $0.65, 1 fold

      Flop: ($1.75) J, Q, 4 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.25, SB raises to $2.50, Hero calls $1.25

      Turn: ($6.75) 10 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $6.75, SB raises to $8.83 (All-In), Hero calls $2.08

      River: ($24.41) 4 (2 players, 1 all-in)

      Total pot: $24.41 | Rake: $1.22

Typical shortstacks. I got some great draws, both with the Ace, and the flush draw, so i'll just try to stick it in. Waaay to many of these hands. Not so sick, but meh.

      ( He had JJ )

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from

      Button ($15.96)
      Hero (SB) ($42.71)
      BB ($25)
      UTG ($41.53)
      MP ($39.48)
      CO ($26.15)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7, 7
4 folds, Hero bets $0.75, BB raises to $2.50, Hero calls $1.75

      Flop: ($5) 7, 10, K (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $2.50, Hero calls $2.50

      Turn: ($10) 2 (2 players)
      Hero checks, BB checks

      River: ($10) J (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $6.75, Hero calls $6.75

      Total pot: $23.50 | Rake: $1.17

      - Stupid play by me, trying to overslow play it, and he gets payed. Oh well.

      (He had JJ)

And here for an really interesting hand, me and this guy have been fighting a bit. He's a retard herefrom to the south pole.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from

      MP ($33.19)
      CO ($27.89)
      Button ($20.59)
      SB ($32.50)
      Hero (BB) ($26.94)
      UTG ($8.12)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, 8
2 folds, CO bets $0.75, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.75, CO calls $2

      Flop: ($5.60) 8, 2, 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $3.55, CO calls $3.55

      Turn: ($12.70) 9 (2 players)
      Hero bets $9, CO raises to $21.59 (All-In), Hero calls $11.64 (All-In)

      River: ($53.98) K (2 players, 2 all-in)

      Total pot: $53.98 | Rake: $2.69

I flop the perfect flop, hence i know he does not really have much, maybe a flushdraw or something if he calls.

Kinda pot commited imo on the turn there so have to call anyway, and it's kinda what i want so.

He End up showing 9 - 7 Of hearts, but but.

I'll post more later. Maybe a monthly update :)

So i fucked up, and for some reson, i lost 80$ on PLO 100 lol.

Not that it matters so much, but when i think about it afterwards, i just have NO idea wtf i was doing. It was really late, and i was going to bed, but noo.

Anyways, i'v found out that i have taken in 400$ into my account since 1.

Therefore, i deposited 100$ more hence i just got buttloads of cash.

Therefor my Deposit amount is 500$

      Right now roll is 1500,34$

      This is a profit of 1000,34$ :P

After checking up pokerstracker i have played for 47 hours so far.

      That's 21,27$/ hour.

As a punishment for my bad desition, i'll have to win 5 buy ins at NLHE 5, and NLHE 10, before i can go on playing :P "yeey"

      But hey, atleast i learn.

Okey, so I'm fairly impressed by myself atm actually. Did not think i would win 5 buy ins at NLHE so fast. At least i won 25,07$ now, and are really impressed. Played fairly good, not 100% A game, but pretty close. (mostly due to 4 tabling)

Took me two hours. Anyway, now it's over to NLHE or PLO 10.

      25$ at 0,02/0,05 = 25,07$ won (COMPLETE)
      50$ at 0,05/0,10 = 12,80$ 25.50% Done

Hopefully back and running soon :P

70 ish $ rakeback incoming, and 50$ mid year bonus!

So i acually managed to become platinum on NL 25 / PLO 25. Not bad eh.

However FTP gambling licence got taken, and stuff is kinda unclear atm. I though still belive everything will be fine.

Not sure yet if i will take out all my founds from FTP the first moment i'm able to, or if i'll just keep on playing.

1700$ is alot for me to lose, but not crusial. Just got some cash in today from the army so it's all good acually.

Maybe i'll deposit 200$ to stars, and have some grinding, so i can acually do something. We'll see. Really love to play the game :)

So i deposited 200$ into stars, just have to play some.

      Started to play PLO 10.

Really nice results first day. Got a 10$ bonus, for 1 FPP point.

And also won 48 ish $.

Was a total noob at my table that lost 100$ in 70 hands lol.

      So anyway.

      Deposit - 200$

      Profit - 56,48$

Hourly - 64,22$ (lool way to good)

Hopefully i can build some kind of roll out of this. We'll see.

I'm atleast not giving up :D
