If I want to put an image into a forum post, I understand that I need to upload it to a 3rd-party website.

      Which ones are recommended?
Any sites I should avoid? -- If so, why?

      Thanks,
      --VS

      hi VS,

there are quite a lot of free image hosting sites out there. before, i used imageshack.com but they have made things a bit difficult since the pic doesnt show up unless the person viewing the pic is logged on to their site. now i use imgur.com. it works fine for me :) there are plenty of other ones out there. i hope other members can drop by and share which one they use. :P

      smiles,
      wendy

Yes, I did that, however as you can see there is a huge array of choices.

I was hoping for some pros and/or cons so I did not have to try all of them myself.

      Which one(s) do you use?

is used imageshack last night and it worked totally fine for me ...

you can upload without being a member so thats a plus for me ...

you can resize the image easily as well which is good...

i'm not aware of the benefits of being a member although i do know you can delete your images but that is not important to me ...

so i say imageshack ... easy relatively hassle free .. peace
