villain in MP3 plays 20/13/1.5, with only 16% to bet-in-position vs missed Cbet.

      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      MP2 (Hero):
      $13.10
      MP3:
      $22.47
      CO:
      $4.72
      BU:
      $13.58
      SB:

      BB:
      $4.00
      UTG1:
      $8.01
      UTG2:
      $6.90
      MP1:
      $1.81

      Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A, A.
      2 folds, MP1 raises to $0.40, Hero raises to $1.00, MP3 calls $1.00, 4 folds, MP1 calls $0.60.

      Flop: ($3.15) T, 2, 4 (3 players)
      MP1 bets $0.81, Hero raises to $2.00, MP3 calls $2.00.

      Turn: ($7.96) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets $3.00, Hero folds.

      River: ($10.96) 4 (2 players)

Ugh... ok, so I 3bet smallish preflop to isolate the shortstack, without scaring him off. I reraise smallish on the flop again, to isolate the shortstack's push and fold the guy in position. Turn completes the FD and somehow I talk myself into folding. What would have been correct here?

      Hello nitaidean,

Preflop: Guess I'd still raise big enough just not to invite the other people behind us to get good odds. With some we even are a bit deeper. Maybe even would consider just putting the MP1 directly all-in and raise that amount.

      As played
Postflop: Folding is still a bit weak. He may easily even have worse holdings. And you have nutFD and even GS. I'd bet the turn myself than just Check/Fold it. He could as well easily have overpairs there or any pair even.

      Best regards.
