Full Tilt Poker $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players

      CO: $3.10
      BTN: $4.32
      Hero (SB): $5.00
      BB: $4.72
      UTG: $6.02
      UTG+1: $5.12
      UTG+2: $1.33
      MP1: $5.00
      MP2: $1.37

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is SB with Q  4
7 folds, Hero raises to $0.15, BB calls $0.10

      Flop: ($0.30) 8 :spade: Q :diamond: 5 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $0.25, Hero raises to $0.65, BB calls $0.40

      Turn: ($1.60) 4 :club: (2 players)
Hero bets $1.20, BB calls $1.20

      River: ($4.00) 9 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $2.72 all in, Hero folds

I figure I have a hand on flop that doesn't get value vs TP or stronger style hands so I should just take a line to get some value out of FD's played for implieds and i can give up to further action when he shoves his sets or TPTK on me.

      Hello DaPhunk,

Don't really see why I am Check/Raising the flop while I don't even know the opponent. Basically just CBetting the flop to avoid him Checking behind and of course protection from any kind of draws.

As played not much to add, we are very likely beat on river.
      Best regards.
