This just sums up my day at the tables...

I've only been playing SSS a couple of weeks, and felt pretty pleased with myself after gaining 150 BB at the 0.05/0.10 tables.

But then I endured a 2-day downswing of almost 250 BB. Apart from seriously questioning how long my paltry BR will last at this rate of loss, I'm more concerned about how to stop the rot.

I'm following the SSS to a tee, and yet there's nothing I can do to prevent this kind of hand (forgive the amateur write up):

With KK in my hand and being BB I raised 4xBB after only one other limp-in. He called and the flop came out 7, 10, Q. With the pot a little over $1 I bet 0.60, to which he raised $1. With the stack I had I could only go all-in, and he duly followed.

He turns over 7, 10 to my KK, then after an insignificant turn another 10 comes out on the river and I'm gone.

I must be leaking somewhere, unless it's just a downswing like any other...
