      well your question is very interesting and to be honest, it really greatly depends on the player. i myself started with SSS because it is much easier to learn in the micros and it gets you in less trouble post flop while you still lack experience. mss came about when some poker rooms increased the minimum buy-in allowed at the table. the natural transition for me was bss as i gained more experience at the tables. it is much harder to learn, with more postflop decisions and its easier to make costly mistakes. but it is also less mechanical and more fun.
