fold, fold, BTN raises to $0.40, Hero raises to $1.30, BB calls $1.20, fold

      steal from BTN 24
      fold to 3bet 83
      fold to cbet 50

I decided that I can value 3bet him preflop. He can call me with worse. How do you think?

The flop hits his range often, so donn't know if I had to cbet, maybe just check and fold?

do you think that you have some fold Eq on him when he has 40BBs?
      i think that you havent
so if you 3bet and he calls
this is a flop when you arent good i think
      c/f is ok
but it you like to gamble 3bet his stack to avoid tough decission

no. I wanted to protect my hand in case he has KT for example. Or if he has nothing, just Ace high. If I check, he might often bet and I will not now if this is a bluff or not.

      sorry, didn't understand this sentence

you wont to play 3bet on a 40bb stack man
hmm i wont :) to play
so havent fold eq it is bad to 3bet on him
so if you havent, why bet his stack on a flop?
you could do it before flop. but dont advise

oh, didn't think about that :) I only was thinking that my 99 is too good to call, so I value 3bet.

But again. Why should i care about flop, if preflop I have good equity agaisnt his 3bet calling range? I he calls me with worse range, then I make profit in the long run.
Flops sometimes will be good for him, sometimes good for me. So I just need to know how to play on those bad flops. I think I cannot give up all bad flops.

What are the alternatives then with 99? Folding - too weak, calling OOP sucks as well with such a good hand. The good thing is I can waste little amout of money by calling and donking most of the flops. But the problem then - I donk, he fold and in the end with such a good hand I make so little profit. I could call the any hand OOP and donk bet flop and make small profits.

      Don't know :) thats my thinkings :)

      Hello SPeedFANat1c,

While he is such a nit with the stats I would consider him having most of the time some broadways in his range and which exactly even hits such a board. Do you think you have much fold equity? And how would you have played if you had hit TP here? I'd rather be inclined to Check/Call it if he is more aggressive opponent and even if not then we can still ship it on turn.

Therefore I might go here as well for Check and then take my actions. If he is rather more passive player then maybe even Check/Fold is very likely. While you just noted down preflop stats I can't say much postflop.

      Best regards.
