      It's time I stopped hiding and lurking in your forum and introduced myself;

      My name is Euan, the latest addition at PokerStrategy.com. More specifically, I will be ensuring, along with the more experienced members of the team, that a steady steam of high quality content reaches our fantastic user community on a regular basis.

      Past this, I endeavour to support our members in any of the other Forums in terms of strategy or hand judging; even a shoulder to cry on or some emotional support if your lose your bankroll!

      My background lies in High-end retail Customer Service and Management with an interest in the more creative side of IT such as Video editing / Music editing and in the past I have studied programming languages aswell. I have a passion for language in general, mostly German and Luxembourgish, although I strive to improve my French at any opportunity.

      The rest is history;

      I was born in Glasgow, I spent the first seven years of my life in Scotland, moving swiftly on my Family and I spend the next seven years in Luxembourg; four years on the French border town "Esch-sur-Alzette" and an additional three years on the German border town "Wasserbillig".

      For the past five years, I have lived and worked in Scotland and more recently in my own apartment in the East end of Glasgow.

      Since summer last year I have been a Customer service associate with RalphLauren.co.uk (Out-sourced) followed by a step-up to the RalphLauren.de/fr management team. So let me know if your unsure if those shoes match that dress, I'll give you my two cents.. :)

      I decided I need another change and some more rain so I sought overseas opportunities in Spain and Gibraltar and to my delight, came across PokerStrategy.com, a unique and innovative take on the Poker industry. I can safely say that, if I had discovered PokerStrategy.com a few years back I could be on NL600 by now! Most of the lessons I have learned about poker have, most unfortunately, been the hard way; at the tables.

      However, I look forward to supplementing my practical knowledge with the vast theoretical knowledge that is flying about the place; And together we may grow as professional poker players and.. who knows whats coming next, the buy-in is the limit people!

      In my spare time I enjoy Scuba diving, Juggling, Trail biking, Poker and playing with computers in general and I have a morbid fear of Aquariums and Sharks :f_o:

      I like the way the moderators moderate, but only in moderation. ;)

      Anyway, that's all from me folks! Feel free to ask. :)

      All the best at the tables.

      Take care,

      -E

      You mentioned that you'll be judging hands and giving advise poker-wise. Can you tell us a little about your Poker background?

      Hi Reaching4Zen,

      Thanks for your question.

      In terms of Hand Judging, I'll offer my point of view on the hand itself, what I perhaps would have done in that situation dependant on factors that were or were not mentioned by OP. I'm new to hand judging in a forum format; I have only discussed prior hands with family members or friends, so for that reason I'll stick with the NL Hand Evaluation foums for the timebeing. (This will be in the English and German communities, perhaps French)

      My poker experience consists of about a 40%/60% of live/online play spread over a period of about two to three years thusfar, I have begun researching No-Limit Hold 'em Poker extensively in the past 2 months. The majority of my experience is in online SNG shorthanded tourneys, ranging from $1 buy-in to $6. I have also played microstakes up to NL100 $1/$2 SB/BB, although this was a one-off and I got a lucky $90 pot and managed to keep my bankroll even although I was not bankrolled properly for these stakes.

      If my poker career would be comparitive to a stereotype then it would be a tad older-school, but as I'm sure you know, poker is all about development and you can never learn enough. :f_love:

      These days I four-table NL2, or play NL10 3c/6c. I have also stopped with 6-max Turbo SNG's and started playing Normal Full ring as I personally find it more profitable. The most profitable for me recently has been 3c/6c, which I'll continue doing for now.

      I have played about five or so Casino tournaments in Glasgow, although these were freerolls and it was back in the day. I used to play regular ring games with friends for cash and I'm pretty sure I've played with my aunties and granny at my grans house. (She licked her finger before dealing every card, it was agonising.)

      Take care,
