According to his PFR and Steal%, I don't expect him to have a 4 on the flop almost ever, so I decided for floating. After another 4 on the turn and his cbet I call again and was certain that he has an overpair.. So when the 8 came on the river, I shoved..

How to play this? Is it better to raise the flop or turn?

      Hello Alleen86,

While the Cbet of turn is somewhat small and indicates that he most often will have even made hand sometimes I do prefer even folding. But of course as you played there is no other way to play the hand on river as we hit pretty much the nuts for us, only 4x beats us while he may easily have a lot of higher PPs in his range.

      Best regards.
