      Well either protect or go for pot control. Here you're doing neither, giving good odds for any drawing hand, and value for AQ.
      I'm really not sure what's best in this situation, but I think I'd raise ~3/4 pot on flop to ~12$ and then check behind turn and call river. This is probably too weak though - wait for more input before adapting your game some more ;)

      i was thinking the same thing... i wanted to bet $12 at first.. but CO is a very loose player.. he will call down the flop with bottom pair.. i have been observing him play for a while...

      He has already rebuy 3 times.. :P but he is the weakest link on the table and everyone knows that :D

      if you know he's going to call you, then bet more for value! unless you're scared of AQ or 2 pair

      Bet a little more on the flop and on the turn. The basic line is fine.
