      Hey guys,

I am thinking about going to the casino some time soon. However, they only have NL200 there and MAYBE (really not sure) NL100. Playing BSS would probably be too costly because I dont want to bring only one Buy In. Im thinking of bringing 2 or 3. Hence, I was wondering if the MSS strategy is decent in live cash games? Think I can beat the tables only by playing the basic strategy?

      Thanks

From my experience both MSS and SSS really exploits the HUGE mistakes people are doing preflop in a live game. However keep in mind that you might fold for 2-3 hours straight from time to time. Usually you got a playable hand each 45 mins on average. It's a great way to make profit. If you are allowed to play SSS do it! If not, play MSS and if you drop down, don't reload untill you are below 20bb, then buy up to 30bb, because 30bb plays the same as 20bb online. That's also something you need to know, 40bb live isnt the same as 40bb online because of bigger preflop raise sizes and bigger preflop pots in general. And MSS also relies a lot on 3bet FE, however dont expect people to fold to 3bets live, but feel free to 3bet for value light: (AQ+TT) even sometimes vs UTG opens, and fold to shoves with TT-JJ+AQ, and continue with AK,QQ+ as a general rule of thumb

So maybe if you want to play MSS, you might want to buy in for 50bb

      Thanks man! Great advice.

Do people fold more often or less often in live games? If I play super tight should I be Cbetting the flop when its checked to almost every time and bet for value on everysingle street with hands like TPTK?

      hey Charmander06 :)

Sorry for stalking your threads but at the Casino, specially on fridays and saturdays, people never fold :) (You might be surprised how easy to fall in love with suited aces)

      Take care

Are you talking deep here or not? No one is going to fold to a small stack so just assume your FE is always 0.

TPTK is often a monster live, but if a passive player raises you they probably have you crushed. :D

The fact that the players "never fold" does that mean, that one should never bluff using a continious bet on the flop in live poker on casinos?
