then you shouldnt complain, if you dont play with brm. best you can hope for is big swings. I mean not 3-4 BI swings, but really nice swings. else youll broke to the first downswing.

P.S. I rly like swings its so cool that you win or lose every night half month's salary that you make in a job :D it rly makes it not boring for sure. and if you are on a heater - obv you win some money. if you are on a downswing, I tend to study more and always Im way better after every big downswing (about 20-30BI is a big downswing) so overall.. swings is +EV I guess

Your bankroll is not big enough to be complaining about swings, your swings are just like 3-4 bad hands, you dont have the right bankroll management, I know you dont have the money, but as long as you play smart and don't get frustrated you will pull through. I would actually advise you to go play fixed limit, swings there would be max at 1/5 of your BKR and if you can do 3 hour sessions then grinding it up on fixed limit wouldnt be hard for you, and once you have grinded up enough you can go back to NL.

I think the original poster makes an excellent point, demonstrating his rationality, level-headedness and intelligence.

Surely the solution is to add another rule to poker, that underdogs can never be allowed to win a hand?

[Prize awarded to whoever identifies how many ironic statements there are in the above. Only an ironic prize though.]
