Is it ok to call that preflop? I don't wont to fold just every time, but also QJ is to weak for 3b.. On the flop I hit a gutshot and went for a check/call. On the turn my hand improved, so i didn't want to give it up (if it wouldn't improve, I would check/fold). I planned to check/fold the turn then (on reasonable bet).

      Hello Alleen86,

Preflop: If he has a wider stealing range then of course you can. You may even sometimes consider 3betting if he is folding to 3bets a lot.

      As played
Postflop: In this case while even being OOP I don't really like the Check/Call and Check line on turn. Rather if you want then Check/Raise it on flop at least find out where you stand and maybe even make fold some weaker pairs/PPs. And even if you get Called then you have outs for GS. Or other option would be to Check/Call and donk the turn yourself. Avoid him to Check behind and maybe even fold better pairs.

      Best regards.
