Villain is 23/20 over 35 hands, and most probably gunning for me as he had to fold to my 4bet twice in the last 5 hands. I think AQ + AK is in his range on the flop.

      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.10(BB) Poker Stars
      Hero ($10.46)
      BB ($12.43)
      UTG ($10.31)
      CO ($9.28)
      BTN ($22.45)

      Dealt to Hero T:diamond: T:club:

fold, fold, BTN raises to $0.40, Hero raises to $1.10, fold, BTN calls $0.70

      FLOP ($2.30) 5:diamond: 3:heart: 2:heart:

Hero bets $1.20, BTN calls $1.20

      TURN ($4.70) 5:diamond: 3:heart: 2:heart: 7:spade:

Hero bets $2.40, BTN calls $2.40

      RIVER ($9.50) 5:diamond: 3:heart: 2:heart: 7:spade: K:spade:

Hero checks, BTN bets $17.75 (AI), Hero calls $5.76 (AI)

      BTN shows A:club: A:diamond:
      (Pre 81%, Flop 91.2%, Turn 95.5%)
      Hero shows T:diamond: T:club:
      (Pre 19%, Flop 8.8%, Turn 4.5%)

      BTN wins $20

      Hello sgaf,

I'd basically bet a bit bigger on flop & turn and might avoid even him floating with some hand like AK or something similar. But as even K on river did complete some hands I wouldn't Call there without really good reason. While you only have 35 hands on him I don't think you have and either I don't think that he does such a play as bluff that often.

      Best regards.

      Hi Veriz,

could we make a small block bet on the river? Or check/fold is better?

      Thanks

The problem with small block-bet is that the pot is already huge and I just don't see a lot worse hands Calling you there. :(
