      Two questions:

      1) Villain was an unknown. Should I flat or fold pre? I didn't see 3betting as an option preflop as I am against an unknown and dont want to iso myself against better esp OOP

      2) Line on flop? what is best here?I think it is possible for him to O/R KQ+ and like 77+ something like that?

I was check raising here as a semi bluff. But in hindsight I think this shows I had no idea whether I was ahead or behind because I only get called by better when check raising although If I do chkrai/shove then I often still have quite a few outs.

If I play bet/3bet push he might call me down w/ AQ+ and he is never folding anyway, so is utilizing fold equity relevant here maybe to balance our chk raises with sets? (balancing is mainly irrelevant at this limit though right?)

If I check/call and play way ahead of weaker AX and draws or way behind AQ+ 2pr+

      Hello Rhymenoceros,

      1) Villain was an unknown. Should I flat or fold pre? I didn't see 3betting as an option preflop as I am against an unknown and dont want to iso myself against better esp OOP

Folding is way too weak. Therefore I'd still Call and play postflop against him. Doesn't look like a very good player either.

      2) Line on flop? what is best here?I think it is possible for him to O/R KQ+ and like 77+ something like that?

Against his stack I don't even mind to Check/Raise it. Whatever if he even has some kind of better Ax but as well he might be capable of paying us still even with worse Ax hands and sometimes maybe even some other draw. So therefore I would likely play the same way. We might just scare him away if we Check/Call the flop and then donk the turn when even a flush arrives. He ain't gonna pay us much anyways on further streets if he doesn't have a hand.

      Best regards.
