      0.01/0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
      Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy.com Elephant 0.102 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

      Preflop: Hero is UTG2 with 9:spade: , 9:diamond:
      UTG1 folds, Hero calls $0.02, 5 folds, SB raises to $0.09, BB folds, Hero calls $0.07.

      Flop: ($0.20) T:heart: , T:club: , 4:spade: (2 players)
      SB bets $0.12, Hero raises to $0.28, SB folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $0.44

      is this play alright? i felt he was c-betting with overcards. i thought i could represent either an overpair or even trips on that board... i know it paid off in this example but over the long run is this alright to do if there are no other players in the pot? maybe the bet was a little steep so if it was alright to do this, how much should i bet in this situation?

      Hello DrDunne,

      It's a small chance that he hits his overcard anyways:

      Board: T:heart: T:club: 4:spade:
             Equity     Win     Tie
      UTG    27.02%  26.87%   0.15% { AKo }
      UTG+1  72.98%  72.83%   0.15% { 99 }

      So therefore you can as well just call and maybe even keep him in the play and is capable of 2nd barreling with bluff/overcards.

      Best regards.
