Hero checks, BB bets $0.55, Hero raises to $1.40, BB folds

      fold to cbet 60
      raise cbet 40 (5)
      bet in position 78 (9)

flop sucks for a cbet, and he raises the cbet often, so I thought I could check and raise him because his bet in position is so high.

      Hello SPeedFANat1c,

I do understand that he is aggressive and that's the main reason why you did Check and even Check/Raise. But the other problem is that the board is just so damn drawy that it's hard to make him lay down a lot of his range. And therefore I might even rather just Check/Fold such a board and more dry board would consider to Check/Raise.

But of course overall it ain't a huge mistake to even play this way, you definitely have fold equity.

      Best regards.
