      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 8:diamond: , 8:club:
4 folds, Hero raises to $0,12, CO raises to $0,40, 2 folds, BB calls $0,36, Hero calls $0,28.

      Turn: ($11,30) 3:heart:
      River: ($11,30) J:spade: (3 players)

      Final Pot: $11,30

      Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows a straight, jack high (8d 8c)
CO shows three-of-a-kind, tens (Ts Tc)
BB shows high card ace with queen kicker (Ad Qc)

Hero wins with a straight, jack high (8d 8c)

I called the 3bet preflop here mainly because the BB called too which gives nice pot-odds and if i hit a big chance to get allin against 1 or 2 opponents. If i do not hit i check/fold offcourse.
On the flop i get a OESD, i go allin to pick up the pot and if i get called i have 8 outs at least, which I think is the best play on that spot.
I mainly question my call preflop, is it a good play or not?

      Hey Kuijp,

Although you get good odds preflop those odds don't suffice to setmine preflop thus you should just fold to the 3-bet. With SSS/MSS we never call 3-bets preflop except min3-bets.

Postflop is well played, however still marginal and that's why we try to avoid such spots.

      Best regards,
