I was wondering what the "standard" line was for hands like these. Not necessarily against this type of opponent.

Is it bet flop, bet/fold turn, check/fold river ?
or bet flop, check turn behind, check/call river ?

And what about the same hand, but if i were out of position.
Bet flop, bet/fold turn, check river (but then villain can bluff me away )
bet flop, check turn, check/call river

Now i know that these lines depend on the player type, but i was just wondering, against an unknown or decent player what, in this type of situation, the standard line is.

Just asking because i always bet the flop a bit bigger when there's a flushdraw to protect my hand. Even when it's a heads up pot. And when the 3th suit comes on the board i think, oh snap, he has a flush. So i don't keep on betting and might loose some value there.

      Hello Stevos1938,

While he still may have even worse holdings and maybe even pair+FD or whatsoever hand then rather Bet/Fold the turn as well for protection and for free showdown.

      Best regards.
