Once upon a time there have been a semi-professional Poker player called RinnRinn. He lived in one household with his older brother, which was pretty great as he was crushing the micros as well. But how life works, RinnRinn* (or Rinn as good friends called him) did not reach the mid limits for a long time...

This young guy spent hours of hours in improving his theoretical understanding and practical play of Hold'em. Unfortunately he never minded to share his knowledge, which caused him to not have many contacts inside the poker scene or making a name of himself. Well, until this one evening....

      KNOCK KNOCK.
"Who is that?" Rinn asked the same moment he knew the answer
"I am a good Idea - You should spent some time talking to other guys via Internet. It might be interesting to get new impressions about how people think, and how they rate your way of thinking"
"Yea whatever" he said with a short sight. "But where shall i start? What shall i tell? Or.." - as every poker player he was full of himself - "what can other's even teach ME?"

But however, he slept anxious this night, because he lost a good amount of money at Stars, and because his mind made a plan..."You will tell the strategy forum about who you are...NO - BETTER: you gon' start a Blog on playing SNG's, starting with $1 and going up to $999999999...you know..until you busted hellmuth or so.."

      may- to -be continued
      --------

Yeah ok this fairy tale is pretty boring...and i were to impatient to think about a climax, ending or morale..but me writing this post is kind of conclusion :s_biggrin:

And the story above is (almost) true... i will spend some time in writing posts or answering questions - whatever i also gonna start that blog Rinn's mind was talking about

I thought it might be possible to open a blog here in the first place, but it seems to *not* be possible (correct me if you can) .

As i am playing Sit and Go's for a long time now, it could become a good story with interesting thoughts. I at least hope so.

First, i thought about playing one-table sng's only, starting with $1, but now i got the flash of genious to ask YOU what you would be interested in... if you dont get to a point, i will continue with one-tables anyway ;)
I'm aware of nearly every theoretical aspect of the game but in my mind, NL Hold'em has more of an Art than strategic play. So said blog is going to be my personal artwork

Ah before i forget, im playing on stars and busted a mentionable part of my roll over the last month with 180-Man-Turbos (it was like a massacre of running under EV) what makes me think about starting back below

That's all i can say for now, i hope to profit from that community - and i hope that you gon' profit from my being.

      :diamond:  :spade: :club: :s_biggrin:
      Rinn..

*fake Name - I will put my real player-name face up when it gets essential

...So the next morning, Rinn searched for the right words to start his Blog. Even if in his dreams there were a guy saying HU-Sng's might be the most interesting thing, he stayed to one tables...for no reason so far. But hopefully, the Dreamguy will understand. Now there was another problem: what data to publish, what conditions to set for beating a limit and so on..

Suddenly, there was a huge bang, followed by a mighty Voice:
"RinnRinn, here speaks Godd Brunson, father of Doyle, grandfather of Poker...I will help you with.."
"Wait, so Doyle named his son after you, except the 'T'?"
"..your problem..what? What do you care at all? Todd-damn! Look, as you have no idea, here is what i will do for you..close your eyes, and say the first thing that comes into your mind...."

Thats how Rinn did...he closed his eyes and thought about..

"...******? Seriously!?" Godd roared.. "Well...I will now analyze this thought by using my special human-modal-device
      *piep* *piep* *crzh* *flash* *pieeep*

and here is the result my friend :)

"WOW". Rinn could not trust his eyes. A hi quality, goldcovered Thread suddenly appeared on front of him.
"How did you do that?". (Believe me, you would have seen ballsize eyes if you were there in this moment!)
"It don't have to mind you, Son, just go out there and make yourself proud."

So he decided to do. He had a goal, he had a crowd of fans, and he had the knowledge he would need.
"I just have one question..." but in that moment he realized he was alone in his room (it was pretty messy, full of empty bottles and boxes once filled with food).
      "...never mind.."

No wonder that he was kind of confused (was that a dream? i mean, there was this golden thread, but nevertheless.....)
"Maybe I am playing too much poker? I might see ghosts or whatever it was, i saw something unreal...I hope it will stay away"
That was when Rinn decided to take a timeout..

      KNOCK KNOCK
"WHAT NOW?" he shouted full of bad feelings...
"It's me..." and reallife entered the scene...
      ---------- closed
      ---------- opened
It was a wonderful and sunny day out with his friend.. He did not spend any thought to poker. Instead, he talked about future, past and parallel worlds (both had a spiritual touch, what might connect them in the first place).
"Where do you want to be in say five or ten years" one question was.
"Good one...ehm.." Rinn took some time to think about that..Images were flashing in his head - a house with garden, still playing poker. A wonderful wife (or girlfriend?). Hot days in a more southern country. Suddenly alone (but not lonesome), cruising through the world in a trailer, programmer (or something, it disappeared to fast)..
"Whatever it will be, I'd like to be my own lord" he sighted..
"Ahh, give a crap on that, you just need money money". That was more or less a joke.
"Look", his friend started after a moment, "try to do whatever you want..but don't forget that you just got this *one* life in your present buddy...Life is like poker isn't it? Just a game.."
"It is..and I mostly know my odds"

The talk crossed other themes like pyramids, the might of knowledge and 36 others - mostly wistful (sadly not only shiny ones), until they both took a nap...The next half hour Rinn had pretty bad dreams. And when he woke up, he was ready to rejoin the tables

Someone once told me if I sit down to play poker "treat it like a play-station game, your actual chips aren't real money but only credits in the game"

Like this you'll never have to fear to loose because you'll play to win in a long term.. rather losing money now turning into winning credit...

      ^^ welcome to PokerStrategy.com!

You don't have to get the starting capital, just play in a room which was created via PS and become bronze or higher status :)
