      Hi guys,

Not a hand I play every round, but every now and then, as per the 'maximal table'.

Seemed like a good play at the time, but I think I didn't give enough thought to the possibility of a full house with the paired board, esp since it wasn't unlikely he had an ace here, in fact that's what I put him on with the donk bet.

Is it better on a board like this to just give up the draw?

      Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.04 BB (9 handed) - Party-Poker Converter Tool from

      Hero (MP3) ($4.66)
      SB ($4)
      UTG ($1.84)
      BB ($4)
      CO ($2.75)
      Button ($4)
      MP1 ($4)
      UTG+1 ($2.20)
      MP2 ($2.80)

      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 9, 7
      1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.04, 2 folds, Hero bets $0.24, 4 folds, UTG+1 calls $0.20

      Flop: ($0.54) 6, A, A (2 players)
      UTG+1 bets $0.26, Hero raises $1.30, UTG+1 raises to $1.96 (All-In), Hero calls $0.66

      Turn: ($4.46) J (2 players, 1 all-in)

      River: ($4.46) J (2 players, 1 all-in)

      Total pot: $4.46

      Hello giliNL,

Don't think that it's a good idea to raise on flop. Vs his stack I don't like it at all. Rather just Call and take the great implied odds. But could as well easily even be the case that we are already drawing dead. While he either could have better FD or even FH.

      Best regards.
