      This hand was against a fish that I've played with a fair bit.

      25/16/1.3/363 (VPIP/PFR/AF/HANDS)
      WTSD: 22
      FoldVsCbet: 79

      He's pretty loose-passive, has a wide range pre, he once raised KJo UTG and called my 3bet oop.

      BB: $7.20
      UTG: $3.20
      UTG+1: $1.05
      UTG+2: $0.97
      MP1: $3.83
      MP2: $2.00
      MP3: $5.00
      CO: $1.87
      BTN: $2.36
      Hero (SB): $3.45

      Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is SB with A :club: K :heart:
      2 folds, UTG+2 raises to $0.07, 3 folds, CO calls $0.07, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.26, 2 folds, CO calls $0.19

      Flop: ($0.61) 9 :club: K :diamond: J :spade: (2 players)
      Hero bets $0.40, CO calls $0.40

      Turn: ($1.41) 7 :club: (2 players)
      Hero checks, CO checks

      River: ($1.41) 6 :club: (2 players)
      Hero bets $0.50, CO raises to $1, Hero folds

      I 3bet preflop to take the initiative and I know that Villain will be calling me with a lot worse hands, so I think it's ok.

      Flop I think is standard cbet especially with possible draws.

      I check the turn for some pot control and with him being passive, I wasn't expecting to face a bet. I don't mind giving a free card if he has a draw because a lot of blanks can come on the river, I'm only worried about a 8/10/J/Q. If an ace comes, it changes nothing because I'm already behind vs. a flopped straight.
      I was really 50/50 about double-barreling, is it ok to go for some pot control?

      On the river, I bet as a blocking bet, but also as thin value against KQ, QJ, JT, 9T.
      When he raises, it seems very strong as his river aggression is 0.8 and he's so passive in general. I think it's a definite fold, but on the other hand, is it profitable to call given these odds? What do you think about my river bet-sizing? Could I have gone lower or would that have been read as very weak?

      Hello jdnismo,

      First of all I guess I'd raise it even bigger ~$0,30. As played I guess I'd still 2nd barrel. As you said he may have a very wide range there even vs our 3bet? Can you conform that?

      Board: 9:club: K:diamond: J:spade:  7:club:
             Equity     Win     Tie
      UTG    38.96%  34.20%   4.76% { 99+, ATs+, KTs+, QTs+, AQo+, KQo }
      UTG+1  61.04%  56.28%   4.76% { AcKh }

      I'd 2nd barrel.

      But most likely as played as you said he is rather passive player then we can't really do much than give up the hand.

      Best regards.
