Looking back, betting the river probably wasn't the best decision, but I dont see many sixes in his raising range, other then 66 and maybe A6s... 23/7 VPIP/PFR through 56 hands...

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      MP2:
      $1.22
      MP3:
      $2.00
      CO:
      $0.95
      BU:
      $2.38
      SB (Hero):
      $2.86
      BB:
      $2.11
      UTG1:
      $2.47
      UTG2:
      $2.00
      MP1:
      $2.50

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8, 8.
3 folds, MP2 raises to $0.04, 2 folds, BU calls $0.04, Hero calls $0.03, BB folds.

      Flop: ($0.14) 5, 7, 8 (3 players)
      Hero bets $0.11, MP2 calls $0.11, BU calls $0.11.

      Turn: ($0.47) 9 (3 players)
Hero bets $0.36, MP2 folds, BU calls $0.36.

      River: ($1.19) 3 (2 players)

      Hello dahobo,

Nah, betting the river is still fine while he rather will pay us if he has a weaker hand rather than bet himself. Most likely he will just Check behind those weak hands which might still pay on river. Nice hand!

      Best regards.
