When that turn bet hit, part of me knew I should have folded. Is it basically a standard fold when a bet that size is thrown in?

Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      €0.02/€0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, J.
3 folds, MP2 calls €0.05, MP3 folds, CO calls €0.05, BU calls €0.05, SB folds, Hero raises to €0.25, MP2 calls €0.20, CO calls €0.20, BU folds.

      Flop: (€0.82) J, 3, 7 (3 players)
      Hero bets €0.50, MP2 calls €0.50, CO calls €0.50.

      Turn: (€2.32) 4 (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, CO bets €1.10, Hero raises to €1.38, MP2 folds, CO calls €0.28.

      River: (€5.08) 6 (2 players)

      Final Pot: €5.08.

      Results follow:

CO shows three of a kind, threes(3h 3d).
Hero shows a pair of jacks(Ac Jh).

CO wins with three of a kind, threes(3h 3d).

      Hey lynius,

Why do you check turn? You have a strong hand where you want value with TPTK and with barely half potsize left in your stack you are commited to the pot anyway. So, going all-in yourself is better because then opponents will call you with worse top pairs maybe some second pairs which they would check back if you check and only bet strong hands.

Betting turn again as according to the articles would be the best play here.

      Best regards,
