      Rather annoyed, running seriously below EV and my BR is probably about to go. Cant practice proper BRM since im at the lowest stakes, cant seem to make a hand connect. A few rage examples:

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      MP1 (Hero) = ($2.00)
      MP2 = ($0.97)
      MP3 = ($7.22)
      CO = ($2.12)
      BU = ($9.44)
      SB = ($3.40)
      BB = ($0.65)
      UTG1 = ($4.98)
      UTG2 = ($2.00)

      Preflop: Hero is MP1 with J, A.
      2 folds, Hero raises to $0.08, 3 folds, BU raises to $0.27, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.00, BU calls $1.73.

      Flop: ($4.03) 8, 5, Q (2 players)

      Turn: ($4.03) J (2 players)

      River: ($4.03) 4 (2 players)

      Final Pot: $4.03.

      Why the hell are you shoving AJ pre flop 100bb deep?

      Loooool 5BI below EV is nothing. Get used to that :D If your BR can't take running 5BI below EV your BRM isn't very good imo.

      Also, haven't looked at the hands but i'm guessing you made some mistakes somewhere as well.

      Hello esuohdla,

      Sorry to hear about your current run bad.

      As mentioned by wriggers above me a 5 BI below EV Swing is quite low and could be alot worse. I appreciate that it feels bad for you but it can be alot worse (I have witnessed this myself on many occasions)

      If you find yourself not playing your A game or that you are a little bit tilted with results not going your way, why not take a break from playing?

      Taking a break is the most +EV thing to do when things are going bad. Take some time to study the game a little more and I think you should really study BRM more.

      BRM is there to protect you from going broke and is an excellent weapon to have in the armoury. If you can't practice safe BRM, maybe wait until you can deposit your own funds to bump you bankroll up again and start BRM from the beginning.

      Poker is a game that takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master so studying is a very important part of improving and if you put the time into it I am sure you will start crushing the tables soon :)

      All the best,

      Gary

      Reason for shoving AJo is that the guy was open shoving 90% of his hands and showed down much worse than AJo, as you can tell by his call. Was purely going by that read and it isnt a standard move I make :P but thanks for the advice guys, makes it feel a little better. (that and the 3 winning sessions since :P )

      Nice hands, just got unlucky. Easy shove with the AJo for me as well against super maniac.
