      Hello!

Is it better to just call this preflop against such a rock? I made a flop cbet, but then gave it up.. Should I continue? I was sure to be worse there..

you can consider b/f turn although I think c/c should also be fine play
c/f with overpair in 3-bet pot seems weak- you have there enough times AK to c/f turn

      Hello Alleen86,

Preflop: What hands do you consider the opponent going to continue with Calling here? I mean vs such a nitty opponent do you really think we can do the 3bet for value? At the best we might be against AK and get a coinflip and that's likely it. Myself I'd prefer Calling and playing postflop.

      As played
Postflop: Didn't you go for value preflop? Or what was your plan with the 3bet? 3bet as bluff and Cbet the flop and as called then Check/Fold turn? If you are going to for value preflop then should as well Bet/Fold the turn.

      Best regards.

I guess I realized postflop that I had made a mistake preflop, so I just tried to run away from further looses.. But as played, should definitely go for b/f the turn. But what if he calls the turn? Should I go broke on the blank river?

Wasn't that your plan preflop as you went for 3bet? :) That's the main idea of going for a 3bet unless you went for bluff-raise?
