becoming a pro poker player is a very long road and is not for everyone. The first step is of course to become a profitable poker player and to go up in limits in your chosen game. when you reach a limit which allows you to make a profit that is enough to live with you can consider yourself as a pro poker player. However because of the nature of the game and the element of luck in it, you need to be able to put enough volume monthly so that the variance kind of evens out.
on your way you might want to read a lot of strategy articles, watch loads of poker videos.
You will need to work on your mindset along the way.
