      Villain = 9/5 52hands

      I estimated villains range here could be something like:

      Board: K:diamond: 8:club: 3:club:
             Equity     Win     Tie
      UTG    81.98%  81.23%   0.75% { AhAc }
      MP3    18.02%  17.28%   0.75% { 88+, ATs, KJs-KTs, QJs, AQo-AJo, KQo }

      (please correct me if wrong - this is very much an estimation)

      When he raises the turn I think KA/KQ or a set so decided to play for pot control. I didnt see him being aggressive enough to play a FD this way, especially since he check min raises. I would assume he would want to leverage more fold equity if he was doing this ( not that villain prob knows what FE is)

      RIVER: I went for check/call line instantly without thinking, but should I play bet/call, blockbet fold or is check call best

      TY :)

      Hello muel294,

      If you really expect him to raise there with any kind of TP type of hands then shouldn't be a huge problem even Calling the turn. Although it might be very often be a trap so therefore we really have to watch out on river.

      Best regards.

      what line would you recommend more often against a nit on the river?

      check/call or bet/call?

      As he raises you on turn then I don't really see any reason to Bet/Call there. Don't be result oriented. You most likely would overplay your hand there if you would play this way. Rarely see him raising anyways with a lot worse.

      So therefore at the best depending on the bet size I'd Check/Call.
