Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      CO:

      BU:
      $4.61
      SB:
      $1.30

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, 9.
3 folds, SB raises to $0.16, Hero raises to $4.17, SB calls $1.14.

      Flop: ($5.47) J, 4, 8 (2 players)

      River: ($5.47) J (2 players)

      Final Pot: $5.47.
      Results follow:

Hero shows two pairs, jacks and nines(9 9).
      SB shows a pair of jacks(5 A).

Hero wins with two pairs, jacks and nines(9 9).

Villain has been stealing every button and small blind and also playing like a bit of a maniac.
Is this too much of an overshove?
What would be a good 3-bet sizing if so?

      Hello Yoshimitsu77,

I would have very likely played the same way. There is no point to raise it smaller while he doesn't have much left anyways. If I had here like KK/AA then I'd consider doing that to trap him and force him to shove with worse hands.

      Best regards.
