I am comfortable playing such suited 1 gappers in position so this is a standard steal IMO.

I flop the double-gutter so the board is good for a C-bet. I actually meant to bet 5bb here but misclick meant that I only bet 4bb.

I turn my straight and he donks me. Looking at it now my turn sizing is pretty crap. For some reason I always miscount the pot when working out my raise when people donk me. Shouldn't be any less than $2 imo. But hehas to play it OOP without the initiative on the river.

The river brings a 5 and a diamond and he checks as I expect he does with all of his range. I'm not convinced he can have any 2 pair hand or even set here (and he might fold anyway) so decide to check it back. Should I be playing a small betfold line on this river or is my check back okay?

      Hello Meemawuk,

Could actually raise it even bigger on turn ~$2. But as played I don't really see value on river, he ain't gonna pay us. Good idea to Check back there.

      Best regards.
