Hi Ingrid,i'm not sure can you help me with this but i will ask anyway.I opened an account with Ladbrokes recently. The way i deposit money is in their shops and thats how i also withdraw money.I have to transfer money then from my sports account to my poker account.Am i still entitled to a bonus if i make a deposit directly to my poker account ie. from my bankcard or something.I opened my account using the pokerstrategy code which i think entitled me to something but im not sure did i recieve anything or did i activate it because of the way i deposit money.

Not sure if you can help and if not i will contact Ladbrokes directly.

      Thanks,

      Ian.

      Hi 1984ioc,

Thanks to the lovely Bart, I was informed that you're looking for me :)

If I get it correctly, you already have a sportsbook account with Ladbrokes right?

In this is the case, unfortunately you won't be able to get your account re-tracked (even if its just sportsbook account right now) no matter if you deposited and downloaded the client through our website.

Can you please clarify this for me?

      many thanks :)

      Hey Ingrid,

My account with Ladbrokes is being tracked by PS.What im wondering is about deposit bonuses. The only way i deposit money into Ladbrokes is from my sports account into my poker account. The money transfer section.I am just not sure have i ever recieved a starters bonus that is if i was even entitled to one in the first place.

My question i suppose is do the poker section at Ladbrokes recognise transfers from the sports accounts to poker account as deposits or would i have to deposit directly into the poker account(from credit card etc. ) to release any bonus i was entitled to(once again thats if i was ever entitled to one).

Hope im not confusing you.If i am i can email the staff at Ladbrokes who are always great i have to mention.

PS The way i deposit money into my sports account is by going into ladbrokes shops and putting money into my sports account which i transfer to my poker account.

      Thanks,

      Ian

      Hi 1984ioc

I think your best bet is to ask Ladbrokes customer support. There you can get definitive answer if you have used your first deposit bonus or if any bonus is available to you

      Best regards

      Thazar

      Hi there again :)

I think, but I'm not too sure, transfers from sportsbook account --> poker account is consider a deposit. Would you mind asking poker room customer support and let me know?

      Thanks a million :)

Why "to Ingrid" and not to the admin who works at PS.com for the Ladbrokes poker room? :P

I have sent an email to them asking for confirmation about all this.As thazar said i should have done this in the first place. My apologies Ingrid for asking for you.For some reason i thought you were connected with Ladbrokes as i have seen you post on some of the threads here.My apologies for asking for you specifically if you have nothing to do with them though i appreciate you helping me as always.

I will let ye know when they get back to me ok.

      Once again,thanks.

Ok so i got a reply from Ladbrokes.Any money transferred from sports account to poker is considered a deposit. The next part makes me feel sick.

Deposit a minimum 15 euros and earn different amounts for certain points accumulated.I earned 7,516 points in the 45 days that is the amount of time you can earn to realease your bonus. This would have entitled me to at least 240 dollars. Not sure would this have been more as i deposited more.

The sick thing is you have to complete a claim form within in 45 days to realease it.Not alone did i know this i never even saw it mentioned anywhere and i check the ladbrokes poker site alot for promotions etc.

Few hundred dollars down the drain. While i know i am in the wrong i can't help but feel annoyed that such bonuses are not realeased automatically. Why should we have to claim them.Is it so Ladbrokes can save money from people like me who dont know or forget to claim.

Thanks for the others who replied to me though.Appreciate your help.

Just as much as I thought :(

And no problems, I'm the first contact to our key account managers so you came to the right place and asking for me is never a problem. Lovely moderators will always flag these cases to me if I don't notice them.

Ingrid, quite amazingly i opened my emails this morning to find that 200 euros was paid into my account by ladbrokes. After the email last night i discussed the problem with one of their agents through emails. He sent the problem to the concerned department who emailed me this morning that they paid me already.(less then 12 hours then when i even mentioned the problem).

Now as much as im happy about the money, for some reason i feel happier about their service and way they dealt with things. They didnt have to pay me as i missed the deadline. But i like their thinking that good service gets rewarded.I couldn't speak highly enough of them now, considering some of the events going on in the poker world at the moment though i know 200 is a tiny amount.

After getting VIP last month you have direct contact with their agents who are friendly, understanding, and very helpful.Thank you ladbrokes and cheers Ingrid as well for quick responses.

      Much appreciated everyone.

Hi, I am Head of Poker operations at Ladbrokes.
      To clarify:

New deposits into Sports which are transferred to Poker will be counted as a deposit into poker.

We're glad to have been able to help and are more than happy to do so where minor terms and conditions need "bending"

      Good luck at the tables.

Thanks for clarifying LPM,appreciate it.Also your companies service was 2nd to none and thanks for "bending" the terms slightly ;-) .As with these situations i always believe in the long term ye will gain and deservedly so.

      Regards,

      Ian.
