Played this fairly horribly I reckon.

Decided to play check/call on the flop as I felt he may C bet overcards that have missed the flop.

Problems built on turn where not much had changed, but I was worried I was likely to be up against a better overpair due to the line taken.

Figure the best play would have been to bet/fold straight on the flop. I was scared to bet as I didn't want to build the pot against a better overpair, but in hindsight it would have cost me a fair bit less.

      Known players:

      0.01/0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Elephant 0.102 by

      Preflop: Hero is UTG2 with T:heart: , T:spade:
Hero raises to $0.07, 2 folds, MP3 raises to $0.24, 4 folds, Hero calls $0.17.

      Flop: ($0.51) 9:club: , 6:diamond: , 5:spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets $0.33, Hero calls $0.33.

      Turn: ($1.17) 4:club: (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets $0.58, Hero calls $0.58.

      River: ($2.33) 9:heart: (2 players)
      Hero checks, MP3 checks.

      Final Pot: $2.33

      Results follow (highlight to see):
      Hero shows (Th Ts)
MP3 shows two-pair, jacks and nines (Jd Jc)

MP3 wins with two-pair, jacks and nines (Jd Jc)

      Hello Philfox1985,

Preflop: What's the reason for Calling the 3bet? Rather against more tighter player I'd just lay it down.

      As played
Postflop: Don't think that you beat much on turn anymore. Check/Calling the flop is fine although I don't really see him 2nd barreling there with pure air.

      Best regards.
