Not much we can do in this spot?

Flush hits on the turn, but with top-set against short stack we have to be willing to ship it here?

      Known players:

      0.01/0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Elephant 0.102 by

      Preflop: Hero is UTG2 with A:spade: , A:club:
UTG1 folds, Hero raises to $0.07, 5 folds, SB calls $0.06, BB folds.

      Flop: ($0.16) J:diamond: , 7:heart: , 5:heart: (2 players)
SB bets $0.02, Hero raises to $0.12, SB calls $0.10.

      Turn: ($0.40) A:heart: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.24, SB raises to $0.48, Hero raises to $1.81 (All-In), SB calls $0.18 (All-In), Hero gets uncalled bet back (All-In).

      River: ($1.72) 3:spade: (2 players)

      Final Pot: $1.72

      Results follow (highlight to see):
      Hero shows (As Ac)
SB shows a flush, ace high (Kh 8h)

SB wins with a flush, ace high (Kh 8h)

this does not look like a bad beat he just played his draw

at my view and with the stack sb had there was not much you could do.

i would have done the same for sure :)

so its a good play for me!

Yeah its preatty much a cooler, but you could raise bigger on the flop, its draw heavy and sb seems like a fish,so i would bet pot size here.
On the turn against a better player who is full stack, you could think about folding, but here he can do it with lot of two pairs this play or even a smaller set.

      Hello Philfox1985,

Really cruel but I don't think that we could get away from here very easily while he may even have himself a lot of sets which plays this way and even if he does have the flush we can still complete our hand on river. He ain't even fully stacked, going broke as well. :)

      Best regards.
