Any other way I could have played my hand to get more value?

Checked flop as I'm not scared of giving free card here and allows weaker hands to bluff / bet for what they think is value.

      Hello Philfox1985,

Yes, make a small Cbet on flop. It doesn't have to be even very big. If you are going to Check in those spots in 4bet pots you are very often revealing your hand. ~1/2 should work while he may Call you still with JJ/QQ and maybe even with GS.

Of course such a line could be considerable but as you see the opponent is pretty passive and I doubt that he would even take stabs on you if he had any kind of GS or a hand which he can continue.

      Best regards.
