      villain is 25/23 in 50 hands, 7.7AF

should i just fold small pockets preflop against raises from midstacks?

do i have the odds to call from the small blind?

      Hello YinYangS,

If you expect the opponent very often to 2nd barrel then your line is totally fine. Although I guess I would just Check/Shove the turn. :)

      Best regards.

      1. "Call 20 rule" To call for set value he should have 20x0.25=5$stack

      2. He have 25/23 his range is wide and even if he have 7.7 Af you wont get paid too often

      3. Rather fold or 3 bet since you are out of position --> depends on his fold to three bet or call to 3 bet stats

It's not totally off to Call here. We are getting almost 19:1 so doable. :) While we might even get BB to join as well if he is some station. :D Also if we are against very bad player then we can easily even get paid.

I could answer to any question "if there is a player behind and he is ''super fish'' calling any 2'' but we don't know we don't have that information ! - he could be nit could be squeeze happy and so on... - so this argument doesn't really make sense...

Even if he don't have full-stack we can't assume he is fish - 25/23/7.7 thats not really fish stats on any hand sample...
