      PartyGaming - $0.04 NL - Holdem - 5 players
      Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

      CO: $1.58
      BTN: $5.15
      Hero (SB): $4.99
      BB: $3.58
      UTG: $4.49 - VPIP 24/ PFR 15/ AF 1 (100 hands)

Hero posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.04

      Pre Flop: ($0.06) Hero has J:spade: A:spade:
UTG calls $0.04, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.28, fold, UTG calls $0.24

      Flop: ($0.60, 2 players) 9:heart: T:heart: 2:club:
      Hero checks, UTG checks

      Turn: ($0.60, 2 players) K:club:
      Hero checks, UTG checks

      River: ($0.60, 2 players) Q:club:
      Hero bets $0.32, fold

      Hero wins $0.57

Two guestions: 1) Should I cbet on a board like this after UTG checked or as played? I didnt feel comfortable walking into a possible check-raise...
      2) If as played, should I then try to bet on turn, after villain checked, since it did seem like a clear sing of weakness?

      Hello faronel,

On such a board you can as well even consider going for just Check since if he is passive then he might even Check behind himself. Also most of his calling range will continue here. Sometimes maybe even just some overcards if he is loose enough.

Although I'd still bet the turn as he didn't show any interest into the pot on flop. We definitely will have even fold equity there and might even make better hands to fold. Even if not then we still have outs.

      Best regards.
