My 7th hand a table, no reliable stats on villain ( and probably not them on me). However, villain seemed to have played most of those hands wihout raising so I thought to assume loose passive until more data proved otherwise.

      iPoker - $0.02 NL - Holdem - 7 players
      Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

      Hero (MP): $1.89
      CO: $1.05
      BTN: $0.91
      SB: $1.91
      BB: $2.94
      UTG: $5.04
      UTG+1: $1.73

SB posts SB $0.01, BB posts BB $0.02

      Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero has 9:heart: 9:club:

UTG raises to $0.08, UTG+1 calls $0.08, Hero calls $0.08, fold, fold, fold, fold

      Flop: ($0.27, 3 players) 3:spade: T:heart: 7:club:
UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $0.18, fold, UTG+1 calls $0.18

      Turn: ($0.63, 2 players) 6:diamond:
      UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $0.40, UTG+1 calls $0.40

      River: ($1.43, 2 players) 4:diamond:
      UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $1.16,

      final pot 1.34

Board had very weak draws and villain hadnt really showed any interest beyond calling. They could have been stringing me but I chose to assume they would show strength if they had it and they had plenty opportunity to.

      Hello CountBrass,

      Add to full stack. :)

From what are you trying to get value from on river with your bet size? Or you turning your hand into bluff?

      Best regards.

      Hi Veriz,
You mentioned that add to stack thing before. This begs the question - if I take 100 bb to the table, how far down does it need to go before I top it up? I've been topping it up once I get down to 75. I don't like the auto top up feature after every lost hand below 100 bb - it potentially conceals how much you may be losing - also it clearly signals your strategy to your opponents.

Yes there is a potential bluff in the river bet - I wasnt sure I had the best hand.

Top it always up if the stack falls below 100BB. iPoker should even have auto-buyin doesn't it?

OK. So I should probably take more than 100 to the table, say 150 otherwise I am constantly topping when posting blinds after I join.
Yes, ipoker do have auto topup, however, I see automating that as a possible way of getting out of control - before you know it you might have topped up a couple of buyins. So you have to keep separate track of your bankroll during the session.. so I would tend to avoid it.

Nah, use the proper one and do it 100BB unless you have a bigger bankroll and more experience postflop.

I know what you mean, and sometimes time goes quickly before realising you're down a BI after losing a couple of small pots and being card-dry.

But it's still absolutely crucial to have auto top-up. For example, if you get a bad beat and your stack is reduced to like $0.50 or less, imagine how you will feel if the very next hand you have AA, UTG raises and MP 3-bets before the action gets to you... :D
