Just looking back at a few hands the last few weeks and this one I'm in 2 minds.

I'm pretty sure he calls my flop bet with Ax here, and he's also folded to cbet twice before this hand, so I think I'm behind.

But I also think I should bet the turn for potential Flush on river? If he bet bigger I would've folded, but calling OOP is the worst play here IMO.

I don't always open QJ in MP, but this table was pretty tight.

      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.02(BB) Replayer

      MP2 ($0.88)
      CO ($1)
      BTN ($2.04) - 21/17/AF=2.4 in 31 hands

      Dealt to Hero J:club: Q:club:

Hero bets $0.14, BTN calls $0.14

      TURN ($0.43) A:club: 4:club: 8:heart: 9:spade:

Hero checks, BTN bets $0.22, Hero calls $0.22

      RIVER ($0.79) A:club: 4:club: 8:heart: 9:spade: Q:heart:

      Hello philhellmutt,

With your reads it's pretty close I'd say. If you are planning to Check/Call it anyways then I'd rather 2nd barrel myself than go for Check/Call. Since you wont have correct implied odds while you are even OOP.

But once again is it even worth to 2nd barrel as you said he mostly will have the Ax here?

Definitely note down that he plays pretty passively his TP, if he shows any strength in further hands it should be pretty easy to play against him. :)

      Best regards.
