      Any sense in calling his smallish bet on the river with AKhigh?

      I don't see the board being very connected. On the other hand, when he limp/calls preflop, I guess the board hits his range pretty often. So I guess a small pair would play like this?

      Hello M1rCea,

      Nah, I don't really see any reason why we should Call the river. Rather lay it down. Our idea by betting the flop is to get free cards and if we don't hit we are just giving up even against such a bet.
