      CO ($10.19)

      Pre-Flop: ($0.15, 7 players) Hero is BTN 5:heart: 5:club:
3 folds, CO raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $0.90, SB calls $0.85, BB calls $0.80, CO calls $0.60

      SB checks, BB bets $24.56, CO goes all-in $9.29, Hero goes all-in $10.35, SB goes all-in $6.65

      Turn: A:club: ($40.24, 4 players, 3 all-in)

      River: 10:spade: ($40.24, 4 players, 3 all-in)

      Final Pot: $40.24

So I 3bet this guy because that's me. He has 2 raise sizes, one being x3 and the other being x3.5 or pot. Every time he opens x3 he folds to 3bet. The unthinkable happened, I got 4 calls. It was a really bad spot to 3bet because those fishes in the blinds could call. Fortunately I hit top set. There are some inconsistencies, why is the big fish open shoving and why is the regular calling, but I don't think that I can get away from this, can I?

      Hello BadeaCelRau,

Preflop: Obviously overplayed your 55 preflop. Why do you raise and turn your hand into bluff while you could just set-mine very perfectly?

      As played
Postflop: Postflop obviously we not folding our top-set. :D

      Best regards.

      Hello veriz,

I turn it into a bluff because he has a standard range and I don't think he pays me off with 20% or more of his opening range in the CO.
For example here he had 76s, which was super ugly but the callers helped him have decent pot odds. He will almost never pay my set off, unless he hits a straight or a flush. I would also probably fold postflop the best hand in many situations. I don't like setmining vs nits unless it's a multiway pot wth fishes involved.

Is it wrong if I play it like this for these reasons and should I switch to Ax, Kx type hands for that? I know in this case it was a bad 3bet because I could call, let the fishes call and have a nice multiway pot.

Why shouldn't he pay you? :D People even on NL1k pay if you hit your set and you wanna say that a NL10 player wouldn't pay?
