On flop I decided to take free check to see if I can improve, similar story on turn and river I almost expected my A high to be good so no point in betting.

Issue with flop was that it likely hit villians range, so ok to avoid trying to take it there?

      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A:diamond: , J:heart:
      UTG2 folds, MP1 calls $0.02, MP2 folds, Hero raises to $0.09, 4 folds, MP1 calls $0.07.

      Hello Philfox1985,

Against that kind of station I don't think that I would play it much differently. If he is even passive player then we can very often expect to see free showdown if he doesn't have a hand. But of course an idea of betting the turn with GS+overcard is also since we definitely have some kind of equity and obviously fold equity.

      Best regards.
