this hand got me. i hate it when this happens because i feel like he's just shoving because i showed weakness on the turn. i know there are diamonds and an A but he could easily limp/call preflop with 99,88,77,66,55,44,33,22 and it's unlikely he hits a set. he could have a set but i think he would have bet turn with it? what do you think?

equilab says im 70% against his range according to his VPIP & PFR... but it's not a nice sample... also, i don't understand how i can say im 70% here given his play... surely we need to adjust since his range will be even thinner when he is betting like this?

      Hello DrDunne,

Don't think that you can much do here. :( You are very likely beat. :(

I am pretty sure you are not using the equilab correctly. ;) What kind of range are we talking about? Put that into equilab and paste here.

      Best regards.

oh, ok. well the way i was using it is to input my hand in the correct position and against my opponent, select his range according to his VPIP - since it's 50% here i typed that into the VPIP box just below the hand matrix and it gave me the range.. one of the problems i'm having is specific ranges... like he may have a 50% vpip but at the same time he's not going to call a pfraise with his whole range, and he's not going to 3/bet with his whole range etc... im not sure how to go about getting a specific range which takes into account the action.

anyway this is what i got - it is the output at the river..

Why should he ever Call with just some Kx high or even very weak PPs? Or any Other hand you wrote down. Do you really think he would Call practically any2 on flop?
