      was the call preflop the correct play?

      If you call for set value then YES it was correct.

      Hello katarina1991,

      Preflop: Against 100BB totally standard to set-mine here.
      Postflop: Although I would Check/Raise it even bigger ~$0,80 even and ship the turn. With that kind of min-raise you are just giving away correct odds for him to Call.

      Is it worth risking giving a free card by doing c/r rather than making a leading bet, in a multiway pot?

      Both plays are acceptable. I do like donking myself in those spots but Check/Raising is also fine while we assume UTG range is towards a strong hand.

      With donking you sometimes even make hands like Kx to raise but meanwhile Check/Raising might even scare away very weak hands like JJ/QQ.
