      Hi veriz,

Well if I use the "Call 20 in 3BP" formula that you posted in YinyangSS locker, I can't.

      total pot: (0.40+0.03+0.04) = $0.47
      effective stack UTG2: (1.69-0.20) = $1.49
      effective stack BU/Hero: (2.62-0.20) = $2.42
      call: $0.16
      UTG2: (0.47+1.49)/0.16 = 1.96/0.16 = 12.25
      BU/Hero: (0.47+2.42)/0.16 = 2.89/0.16 = 18

Although it's lower than 15 for UTG2 it's higher for BU around 18, plus the raise are big and there's one caller so the chances getting their stacks if I hit is pretty high...and the chances going broke. Would you call here?

I can use this formula when not in 3BP like when more player call like this:

      opps. stack: 80bb
      hero stack: 100bb

      opp. raise: 5bb
      4 opps. call: 5bb + 5bb + 5bb + 5bb: 20bb
      total pot: 25bb + 1.5bb = 26.5bb
      effective stack: 80bb-5bb = 75bb
      call20: (26.5bb + 75bb)/5bb = 20

      Hello cpers,

Well the assumptions are almost correct. Also as you see BU is the preflop aggressor but does he have rather wider range? Or can we expect him to have a strong hand here? Overall I guess I'd still Call it here. In 3bet pots you don't need Call20 rule actually, if you would have been in the coaching (Beginners Course Coaching) you would know that. :D Call15 rule is totally fine also.

      Best regards.
