Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

      Known players:
      CO:
      $3.47
      BU:
      $2.00
      SB:
      $2.47
      BB:
      $3.94
      MP3 (Hero):
      $2.20

      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with J, K.
Hero raises to $0.08, CO folds, BU raises to $0.22, SB folds, BB calls $0.20, Hero folds.

At the time, I folded on the flop to the 3 bet + call because I wasn't sure if the odds were correct so I decided to take the safe fold.

The BU is a 3 bet 20%, the BB was fairly new. Now, I know my hand is easily dominated in this situation, but, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but...

I am paying 14 cents to win 53 cents, so isn't that roughly 4 to 1? Aren't those good odds for my hand? Then again, it is KJ and I am not in position... so I don't know if this is a call on the flop.

I also am REALLY bad with the Equilator... I tried but I don't know about my results!

      Thanks!

      Hello hackbinder,

Rather fold the hand, not worth. Also as you said yourself that he is rather new to you. The case with KJs is that even if you hit your pair you will never know where you stand and might just put yourself into difficult spots postflop.

      Best regards.
