      Hello gxtwo,

Well, the first thin I'd mention is that I'd still bet the turn a bit bigger ~$1,80 or something similar. Making it less even than a 1/2 may easily induce him to ship it.

Also the question is if we should bet at all? Although betting for protection from 1card FD and also even free showdown is considerable. Although there is no question about river play. We ain't turning our hand into bluff and just Check it behind.

      Best regards.

I checked the river back if i remember correctly.
so play was ok apart from bet sizing on the turn?

what if i checked behind the turn and villain checked river?
Would a bet be acceptable here or are we too often behind?

Seems to. I'd also usually in those spots rather Bet/Fold the turn than level myself into Calling on river. While that we at least protect from 1card FD and also secure us a free showdown.

Well, if you consider him being passive enough then you can as well just Check it on turn. But on such a river card we definitely had to Check it behind as well. :)
